Again today we are moving forward with the harvest, picking the grapes for the Brunello di Montalcino in the central part of the winery.
The weather is still perfect, warm and well ventilated. Temperatures range from 79°F (26°C) at the highest to 55°F (13°C) at the lowest.
Evaluating the quality of the grapes that we are harvesting, we can already tell that the 2015 has all the foundations to be an excellent vintage for Il Poggione.
Fermentation continues with no issues, with musts/wines showing intense colors and aromas.
In the next few days we will continue harvesting the grapes for our Brunello.
